About Our President
Mr. Todd L. Schafer, Founder and President of Schafer Enterprise Solutions (SES), is a proven extraordinary leader, providing unrivaled strategic vision and transformational change. He is consistently knowledgeable, energetic and able to work effectively with individuals of all ranks and diverse backgrounds. He consistently provides rapid and innovative responses to demanding and complex emergent requirements. He has an exceptional oral and written communications skill set. Trademarks of his professionalism are taking care of people, producing results, customer service orientation and good humor. He is action biased thereby delivering remarkable results for his clients. His sustained record of extraordinary accomplishments across all of his executive leadership positions makes him a natural fit in any organizational setting.
Mr. Schafer began his career in 1989 as an Air Force Financial Management (PALACE Acquire) intern. His 37 years of experience incorporates policy making; requirements generation; planning; programming; budgeting; cost estimating and analysis; accounting and finance (including working capital funds); audit; human resources; manpower; contracting; program and risk management; modeling and simulation; energy, installations and environment; and transformation. His civilian leadership service spans the Departments of the Air Force, Army and Navy. Assignments have been at the base, laboratory, program office, acquisition center, major command, unified combatant command, military department and joint and coalition levels.
Mr. Schafer holds a Bachelor of Science in Business degree majoring in Management Science from Wright State University, a Master of Arts degree in Procurement and Acquisition Management from Webster University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Troy State University. He is a graduate of the United States Air Force’s Air Command and Staff College, the Department of Defense’s Executive Leadership Development Program, Professional Military Comptroller School and Defense Leadership and Management Program. He also is a graduate of the University of North Carolina’s Joint Executive Management Course and the Federal Executive Institute’s High Performance Organization Course.
Mr. Schafer successfully defended budgets to Congress and the Office of Management and Budget. He has significant acquisition exposure and training. He is a skilled orator before senior leadership and large audiences. He brings a unique perspective to all his clients. He has devoted his career to continuous learning, innovation and growing people.
